A little bit of controversy...

Sadly a few people questioned the validity of the knitwear funday CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS result.

Sometimes it can be hard being at the top...

To all you loser infidels I say:

read 'em and weep...

[actually it's a bit difficult to read - sorry! It says; Steve 4 votes, Jo 1 vote, Row 2 votes, Johnny 2 votes, Dave 2 votes, Hannah 2 votes and Row's second entry 0 Votes]

Because there can be only one...

Your knitwear funday CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS is...

ME!

I won! Yay me!

Thanks to the four people who voted for me (and I know that one of them was not my mum).

And in second place were a few people:

Row getting down on the farm

Johnny the mad scientist

Dave the space orange

And this the prize for the person who could have joined the others in second place but broke the wools... you know who you are!

Future knitwear

Awesome knitwear made for the future.

The leader of the future knit-nerd herd is this lady

Future-past knitwear - the Atari 8600, in knit

And console...

Bonus - SUPER knitwear

Before the votes for the knitwear funday CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS are counted, I thought I would share another knitwear delight...

Knitwear funday for super heroes, courtesy of Mark Newport - a knitwear genius

My personal favourites are his re-creations of costumes for the lesser known superheroes Bobbleman and Argyleman.

Bobbleman

Argyleman

I can't decide who would win in a fight. Oddly I'm thinking Bobble man may have the edge. I think the pink bobbly bits would distract people... although this is probably the advantage of the argyle costume too. A tie then?

Here is Mark knitting...
